You aren’t the only one! I’ve been dealing with this incredibly bad habit of procrastination for years. I’m pretty sure it developed when I was in high school because I was able to get by with doing just enough and doing it just before the deadline.
I didn’t realize how much it was costing me. 😦
Looking back I wish I had gotten more involved in school, tried harder and became more social. I always put inspirations and ideas on the backburner. Not only because of procrastination but because I cared about what people thought and was too intimidated. Does that sound like you? Are you finding yourself to still be like that now? Has anything changed?
I’m seeing a small steady and consistent change.
To be honest, procrastination isn’t completely conquered in my life but I can see glimmers of hope each day with sparks of motivation to get hard, short-term tasks done so that they won’t bite back at me later. This book taught me that.
